On this page we have gathered some information related to 3rd party applications. If you cannot find your question, please contact Tacx support.
Zwift: wrong speed
Zwift uses standard a weight settings of 75 kilo. This has some impact on the experience of cycling. When you ride a 8% climb, then the climb will always feel of someone that weights 75 kilo. To compensate the weight difference, the speed is changed. So even with a NEO you will have Virtual Speed in Zwift.
Zwift: there is no resistance
Please check if your trainer is not connected to the Tacx Utility app. If you trainer is still connected via Bluetooth and you are also trying to connect it via ANT+, then you will not have any resistance.
Garmin: different speed to application
The trainers are sending 2 signals, one that is controlled (connect to an application) and one that has no influence on air resistance et,. see also this page. The data that is shown on your Garmin device is the real speed that you are cycling at that moment, without any influence of air resistance or recalculations of climbs. Software applications always use virtual speed. That is the reason you see the difference.
