The NEO Smart is equipped with three intuitive LED lights which indicate if you’re connected and powered. besides, the LED lights will show error codes when there is something wrong with the bike trainer.
The Three LED lights on the side of the NEO, from left to right, having the following meaning:
- Bluetooth, Blue light when it is connected via Bluetooth
- ANT+, Amber light when it is connected via ANT+
- Power, Red light when it is powered on
Note: In case the red power LED isn’t showing, please check if your power cord is connected. In some cases it helps to connect the power cord directly into the wall socket. If the red power LED still isn’t turned on, please contact Tacx support.
The LED indicators could also provide information like error codes. Please see below for the possible error code combinations.
All LED lights are flashing
This error code is triggered when the unit is overheated. Please connect your bike trainer to the Tacx Utility app and go to dashboard. The dashboard will show more details about the trainer. Please contact Tacx support for further assistance.
Single LED light is flashing red
This is caused by an incorrect installment of new firmware. This could be caused by loosing connection while updating. This doesn´t occur very often. Please try to initiate the firmware update again from the Tacx utility app. This should solve the issue.
Below the NEO Smart an LED glow will occur on the floor while cycling. There is not a specific meaning to this. It is just for fun. When you increase your training intensity it will change color. When cycling with a high intensity it will turn red.
When the power adapter is connected to the mains the LED light on the power adapter will show a blue light. If this light is not showing, please contact Tacx support.
