For every direct drive trainer a cassette is required. The FLUX Smart is equipped with a EDCO Multisys body, meaning that the majority of cassettes available in the market are out of the box compatible with the FLUX.
With the FLUX Smart the following parts are included:
- Two spacers (0,5 mm & 1 mm);
- Two lock rings (11 teeth and 12 teeth);
- One 5 mm spacer for disc brakes.
User for Shimano/SRAM 10 speed. There is a difference in pocket and no pocket (click here what pocket means)
With pocket 1mm and 2 mm spacer
Without pocket 2mm spacer
Two lock rings
The EDCO lock rings can easily be assembled and removed with a Shimano cassette remover. It is important to assemble the correct lock ring. Please use the 11 teeth lock ring if the smallest gear has 11 teeth. Please use the 12 teeth lock ring if the smallest gear has 12 teeth. (picture)
Two extra small ring spacers
These spacers can be used in case the derailleur is touching the trainer. They should be installed behind the EDCO Multisys body. Please click here for more information.
5 mm spacer for disc brakes
In case of a disc brake bike with a 5 mm axle, an extra spacer is included to extent the quick release.
Note: We recommend to use a new cassette, as this will reduce sound levels and improves the experience. The very best would be if the new cassette is used in combination with a new chain as well.
